Ranvir Shorey

Indian actor and former VJ Ranvir Shorey made his debut in the 2002 Hindi movie 'Ek Chhotisi Love Story'. He has also worked in high budget movies like 'Jism' and 'Lakshya'. He has starred in the critically acclaimed films such as Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry and the critical and commercial hit Mithya. He is known for picking unconventional roles and is most prominent in Hindi cinema. He started his career along with his friend and co-actor Vinay Pathak. He was the host of the successful talk show Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? and The Great Indian Comedy Show which aired on STAR One. He made his debut opposite Manisha Koirala in the film Ek Chhotisi Love Story, which tanked at the box office. In the year 2006, he gained recognition for his work in the movie 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. He did his schooling from Dayanand Model Sr. Sec School, Jalandhar. He is a close friend of actor and director Rajat Kapoor and actor Vinay Pathak. Ranvir Shorey used to date Pooja Bhatt. He got married to his longtime girlfriend actress Konkona Sen Sharma on 3 September 2010 until they announced their separation in the year 2015, and they have a son together named Haroon.
