Brendan Gleeson was born on the 29th of March 1955. He is an Irish actor who is best-known for his performance in films such as Mission: Impossible II (2000), 28 Days Later (2002), Troy (2004), as Alastor Moody in the Harry Potter films between 2005-2011, Assassin's Creed (2016), and as the lead role in films such as In Bruges (2009), Calvary (2014) and Live by Night (2016). He is also the recipient of three IFTA Awards, two BIFA Awards, one Emmy Award and has been nominated twice for a BAFTA Award and thrice for a Golden Globe Award.
