Zen in the Ice Rift (2018)

Maia, a 16-year-old girl who prefers to be called 'Zen', lives in a small village on top of the rough and beautiful Italian Apennines. She is the only girl in the local ice hockey team and she is constantly bullied by her narrow-minded small town teammates. When Vanessa, the beautiful girlfriend of the team captain runs away and seeks shelter at Maia's family lodge it lt creates a bond of trust between them. Maia and Vanessa embark on a journey of self-discovery where they explore their sexuality, gender identity and deal with being restless during their troubled times as a youth.
