Thenavan is constantly rejecting the women his mother chooses for him and one of them is Sheila who happens to be rejected by a lot of men but falls in love with him because of his considerate nature. Thenavan is in love with Kalyani who doesn't feel the same way about him. Kalyan's bag gets stolen at the airport and Thenavan helps her retrieve it in exchange for an hour conversation with her. The conversation becomes a turning point for Thenavan, Kalyani, Sheila as well as Sathya, Kalyani's former lover.
