Uncle Bun (1991)

Liberally spiced with quirky humour and charged emotion, this family-oriented drama delves into the trials and triumphs in the life of Charlie Chacko, an overweight man who is struggling with the death of his first love. Meanwhile, his elder brother Jameskutty Chacko is forced by difficulties of his own to seek Charlie's help to care for his three young and mischievous children. Charlie initially feels suffocated and burdened by the immensity of this task, especially when the children do not cooperate. However, in the process, he may get to learn a great deal about himself, human relationships and also have a second opportunity to rebuild his lacklustre life.
