A lecturer in college, Dakshinamurthy sexually harasses a female student. While the male students protest against his behaviour, the administration tries to cover it up. Dakshinamurthy threatens the victim's family to recant, and the young man Bose, who supported her is suspended.
Bose returns home to his elder brother, Raju and sister-in-law, Parvathi. When naxalites cause terrible destruction in the town and abduct a woman, Raju chooses to fight against their tyranny. He tries to broker peace between the naxalites and the police.
However, his younger brother, Bose reacts to injustice and corruption with violence and aggression. An angry confrontation erupts between the brothers, and Bose is given strong warning to conduct himself in a peaceful manner.
Parvathi becomes pregnant and Bose's wedding is fixed. Just when everything seems to be falling into place, Bose and his girlfriend are murdered in cold blood, forcing Raju to veer away from his principles and opt for violence. What will the future hold in store for Raju?
