"The Walk", is an incredibly beautiful film by director Robert Zemeckis..Please take a bow Sir.Based on a true and inspiring tale of Man who dared to dram and walk on a tight rope wire between the twin towers in the U.S.A., the story is given flesh , breath and life by Joseph Gorden Levitt as the central protagonist and all the members of his crew who support him in his dream are aptly cast particularly Ben Kingsley as his teacher/guide and Charlotte Le Bon as his strong supportive girlfriend. The film has a lot of french and while the first half move leisurely, its in the 2nd half that the drama heightens and the scenes featuring the actual feat with the breathtaking ariel views amidst the swarm of clouds and streaks of sun rays.Watch it for its technical superiority and sincere performances.
