A doctor (Somnath), who was transferred to serve in a government clinic in remote, rural Bengal, works hard healing the destitute, but pushes himself to prescription drug abuse, as a remedy to escape from loneliness and memories of betrayed love. In a series of unusual events, Somnath develops a compelling connection with a poor boatman (Jogen), who explores a deeper connection with nature in a mystical and mysterious way. A crisis in Jogen's life brings the two men together. Empathizing with Somnath's agony, Jogen discloses a surprising point of view of the crisis. Somnath follows Jogen on a journey to discovery and reconciliation, which opens hidden door to inexplicable beauty, mystery and truth.
