Talli Tandrulu (1991)

This family-oriented romantic drama revolves around Anand (Nandamuri Balakrishna), a carefree young man who leads a lavish and aimless life. His father Venkataramaiah (Gummadi) is a respectable member of society and the owner of a thriving timber business. Anand's mother is Padmavathi (Jayanthi), he also has two elder brothers and two sisters.

Anand does not take up any responsibility neither does he earn anything, but he simply wastes his father's money. Accidentally he meets Kavita (Vijayashanti) who works as a dance teacher in a school. Their personalities are poles apart, and they end up getting into many conflicts and arguments. However, the sparks soon turn into flames of love for Anand, but Kavita does not trust the authenticity and depth of his love. After a few telling incidents, Kavitha understands Anand's love, but his family members did not agree to their marriage, so Anand leaves the house and marries Kavitha.

Sivaram (Satyanarayana) is Venkataramaiah's former employee and current business competitor, who holds a grudge against him. Taking advantage of the conflict between father and son, Sivaram throws Venkataramaiah into heavy debts, so entire property comes to the occasion.

Venkataramaiah's other children choose to go their separate ways, leaving him alone which leads to his heart attack and his wife's death. How will Anand come to their rescue and restore prestige and honour to his family?
