The Princess of Roopnagar had banned music in her kingdom and punishes people who even dared to sing in her palace. When she suffered from a Paralytic stroke, she was cured with the music sung by Puran. Thr princess was bought back to life by the power of music and she thereby accepted the spread of music and its forms in her kingdom, while she fell in love with Puran. The princess planned to hire Puran as the court poet, which he had refused and even refused her intense admiration towards him. Puran's teacher decides to teach him a lesson for his ego and pride and banishes him to learn the importance and essence of music. Puran decides to stay in the outskirts of the kingdom and the princess secretly meets him in the guise of Malan and they both fall in love. Problems start when Puran is accused of murder and is summoned before court where the Princess and Puran learn about their relationship and identities in shock. What will happen to their love and their common love for music in the kingdom of Roopnagar.
