T Samaya Murali

Hailing from the land of paddy - Thanjavur, on the magnificent River Cauvery’s course, T Samaya Murali, is a B.Tech graduate from the National Institute of Technology(NIT),Trichy. A 2008 batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service, his work has won him accolades such as the Certificate of Merit from the World Customs Organisation (WCO) for rendering exceptional service to the International Customs Community in the year 2021. His fascination with Tamil literature led him towards penning his thoughts on paper through novels and poems. His first novel “Enemy of the Smuggler” , a Customs based investigative thriller, has gotten wide appreciation from its readers.His Second novel “Khakhi”, a police thriller, is inspired by true incidents that happened during the pandemic , promises to be an engrossing read. He has directed a short film titled "PUDHIYA PAARVAI" and a movie tiltled " KANAL". He has done many independent music albums and currently doing music for a feature film.
