Sringaravelan (2013)

Set amidst the lives of the weaving community of Kuthampalli, a village near Ottappalam, 'Sringaravelan' is an upbeat family entertainer. This riotous comedy primarily revolves around Kannan (Dileep), the son of weaver based in Kuthampalli, but he is not interested in pursuing the family business. Although he has studied fashion designing, he is lazy and wishes to gain wealth the easy way, without having to work for it. He befriends Yeshu, a small-time gangster whose advice for easy money is to woo rich girls and marry them. When Kannan is sent by his father to a kovilakam, where the wedding of Radhu (Vedhika), a beautiful girl from an exceedingly wealthy and cultured family, is about to commence. Due to his involvement, the ceremonies get affected and he has to stay back at the kovilakam for some more days. In a serendipitous twist, Radhu falls in love with Kannan, which sets in motion an unprecedented sequence of events that are hilariously portrayed in the movie.
