Shane Black was born on the 16th of December 1961. He is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor, known for writing the 1987 action film hit Lethal Weapon, and his directorial debut with the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005. His acting credits include appearing in the original Predator film, for which he is currently set to write and direct in the next installment.
In 2013, he co-wrote and directed Iron Man 3, which as of mid-2016 ranks as the tenth highest-grossing film worldwide.
