This touching campus drama evocatively depicts the joy and sorrow in the life of Lal (Mohanlal), an orphan man, whose need for the sense of belonging and camaraderie that the college years are famous for is so strong, that he takes on three Masters degrees. He lives in a home nearby the college that was made from the money of his unknown father. From time to time, the movie poignantly traces his reminiscences of his childhood years in an orphanage. Will Lal ever find the love and sense of belonging he yearns for? Will changing circumstances encourage Lal to move on from the fun and frolic of the college years and embark upon the next stage in the journey of life?

In the scene, he also claims to model himself after Venu Nagavalli ("oru Venu Nagavalli line"), who is the actual director of this film and was known for his thoughtful movies at the time. Read More
