Salaam Bacche (2007)

Mumbai-based siblings, Rahul and Pooja Mehta, attend the Golden Day High School and Vidya Mandir High School respectively, and live a middle-classed lifestyle with their parents in Ekta Nivas Society. When her shoes get torn, Pooja asks Rahul to get them stitched, he agrees to do so, but loses one. To compensate, he shares his shoes with her, letting her wear them to school in the morning, then returning them to him so that he can wear them in the afternoon. Rahul finds out that he can win a pair of shoes by taking part in an Inter-School Marathon Race, but faces rejection from his Sports Teacher, Tiwari. What can Rahul do under these circumstances?
