Directed by Australian Rosie Lourde, Romance on the Menu follows New York restaurateur, Caroline Wilson who inherits her aunt's café in the fictional town of Lemon Myrtle Cove, Australia.
Looking to renovate the café before selling, she starts to fall in love with the town, its people, and in particular, a charming local chef, Simon Cook.
Re-evaluating her life, Caroline's must choose between an ex-fiancé begging for a reconciliation and pressing work commitments at her New York restaurant or to stay in Lemon Myrtle Cove and follow in her aunt's footsteps.
