Where did you watch this movie?

Evocative and insightful, this offbeat relationship drama delves into the evolution in the friendship between childhood friends Ashok (Madhavan) and Julie (Sree Devi), who grow up together, and although they are the best of friends, do not share any romantic interest for each other. Eventually, Ashok falls in love with Nandini (Jyothika), a rich girl with whom he marries, and although Julie's closeness to Ashok initially irritates Nandini, she subsequently accepts it. Julie falls in love with Michael (Vineeth), a cricketer who's hoping for a place in the Indian cricket team and Ashok happens to be his main opponent. When Ashok gets selected, Michael's father who has great ambitions for his son strikes a deal with Ashok, without Michael's knowledge, that the marriage between his son and Julie will only take place if Ashok steps down and ensures that Michael would take his place in the team. Will Ashok sacrifice his career for the sake of friendship? How will the relationship between Ashok, Michael and Julie pan out?
