Embedded with charged emotion and youthful romance, this family drama delves into the life of B. R. Rao, a wealthy businessman. He lives in a lavish mansion with his daughter, Sulochana who is blind and his son, Babu Raja, a sincere and obedient young man who assist him in all the business activity.
When complications arise in Sulochana's marriage with her music teacher, primarily due to her blindness, Rao is eaten up by guilt. He feels that his innocent daughter is being punished for his earlier misdeeds. His original name was Ramachandra and he had been married to Parvathi, and had a son, but had betrayed and abandoned them, changed his name and married once more, this time to Babu Raja's mother.
Ever be obedient son, Babu Raja promises to find and reunite his father with his first family. Parvathi, who had been from a wealthy background, the only daughter of an aristocratic estate owner, had married Ramachandra against her father's wishes. Upon being abandoned by him, she and Balram, their son had been left penniless to suffer the consequences of poverty.
In a quirk of fate, while Babu Raja goes in search of Parvathi, Balram ends up saving his father's life, without knowing about their true relationship. Almost switching places, can the two sons resolve all their problems and reunite their extended family?
