Indian music, from time immemorial, has been looked upon not merely as a form of entertainment but has also attained the status of the celestial totality of sound. To attain this university, sound is equated to the worship of the holy Trinity:Brahma Vishnu Mahesh. These sentiments unfailingly find clear echoes in the performance of the musicians of India who took music as a journey to the soul and from the soul to the act of liberation. The saintly musician Pandit Vishnu Digamber Paluskar will always be remembered as the one who contributed to the celestial experience of the community and who enriched the inner lives of the people. For him, music was a vehicle to carry forth his innermost thoughts on men and to commune with the divine. Panditji was a devout worshiper of Lord Rama as an unflagging devotee he endeavored to keep aflame the torch of music. This mantle was inherited by his eleventh and only surviving child Pandit Dattatraya Vishnu Paluskar. The short film features Pt Ravi Shankar ,Naushad,Mohan Nadkarni,Vasant Paluskar and Pt Vinay Chandra Maudgalya.
