Character Error
When she is apologizing for her exposure, Fat Amy's name is listed underneath her as Patricia (Fat) Amy. In the first film (Pitch Perfect), Amy states that her real name is Fat Patricia, not Fat Amy, suggesting that Patricia is her real first name. The way her name is presented in this film suggests that her first name is Patricia and her last name is Amy.

Continuity
There's no flower tattoo on Beca's shoulder anymore.

Factual Mistake
During DSM's performance at the "world's" some people in the front are cheering for them, waving the Belgian flag (vertical black-yellow-red) instead of the German flag (horizontal black-red-yellow).

Factual Mistake
At the world championship in Denmark, one of the supposedly Danish signs says 'veiligheid', which is actually Dutch for security.

Miscellaneous
At the Worlds, Benji is talking to Emily and says he needs to get back to his seat, even though the competition is Festival style and everyone is standing - there are no seats.

Revealing Mistakes
When the Bellas attempt to perform like Das Sound Machine and Ester Dean's hair catches on fire, the announcer's microphones are not plugged in during the first time they come on camera, the second time the microphones are plugged in, and overtime thereafter their microphones are unplugged and the male ends are visible.
Trivia:
One of the Bella alums is Kristen Wiig. The role of Gail was originally written for Wiig, who withdrew due to scheduling conflicts.

One of the Bardon Bella alumni singing in the final scene is WWE diva Lana (C.J. Perry).

In the part where the Bella's sang for POTUS and FLOTUS, you can see Shonda Rimes (creator of Grey's etc) behind them

44th President of the United States Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama appear in the beginning of the film. Footage of them was edited in from the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors reception, held in the East Room of the White House in Washington on December 8, 2013.

Good Morning America (1975) host Robin Roberts makes a cameo for the performance at the end of the film as one of the older Barden Bellas.

At around 1h and 5 mins) NFL Green Bay Packers players T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Clay Matthews, David Bakhtiari and Josh Sitton play themselves as a rival acapella group.

Anna Kendrick improvised the failed comeback/compliment lines against Kommissar

During the end credits, there's an extra scene where Bumper is auditioning for The Voice (where he ultimately chose Team Christina) All of the crowd were not extras, but was the actual crowd for that days taping of the Blind Auditions. They thought it was a huge joke!

The group the filharmonics have a cameo at the end of the movie during the competition scene.

The auditorium where the Treblemakers sing at the freshman orientation at the beginning of the film is the same auditorium where the awards ceremony at the end of "In & Out" was filmed.

When Beca is sitting at her desk a tour poster for the band X Ambassadors can be seen on her wall. Their song "Into the Jungle" was featured in several of the teasers and trailers for the film.

Shelley Regner (Ashley) actually went to LSU, where the movie was filmed, and she auditioned for the part of Ashley at an LSU performing arts center.

Rebel Wilson's character, Fat Amy, has the state flag on her beds' head rest of Tasmania, an Australian state, often made the butt of jokes.

There's a mid-credit scene at the end of the movie, in which Bumper auditions for The Voice. This scene features all four coaches for Season 8. (Adam Levine, Pharrel Williams, Blake Shelton, and Christina Aguilera)

Singing debut for actress Hailee Steinfeld. Steinfeld posted a cover of the song "Flashlight" by Jessie J and also the song she sings in the film. In the same month of the film's release she was signed to Republic Records.

Ben Platt (Benji) took time off of his run in The Book of Mormon on Broadway to film this movie. There he was playing the musical's lead character Elder Cunningham eight times a week.

In the scene where the Bellas are going through their hate mail, Fat Amy holds up a message that uses letters cut out of magazines. It is signed by "Sonia Sotomayor", who at the time of the film's release, is a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Excluding all singing, Lilly only speaks five times in the film.

Kristen Wiig was originally offered the role of Gail in the first movie, who was later replaced by Elizabeth Banks. Elizabeth Banks is now directing the sequel.

Anna Camp(Aubrey) is dating Skylar Astin(Jesse) in real life, but Anna Kendrick(Beca) is his on screen girlfriend.

Elizabeth Banks' directorial debut.

Flula Borg, who plays Pieter Krämer, co-leader of the German a Capella group, has a successful You Tube channel with over 500,000 subscribers.

The camp they go to is the same camp from _Meatballs (1987)_.

Kay Cannon, the writer of Pitch Perfect 2 (and its predecessor) has a cameo as a news reporter after Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) flashes the president.

In the Barden Bella's World Championship performance (final performance), you can hear Rebel Wilson singing "Kitty Cat" background during their "GIRLS" portion of the song. This is a tribute to Rebel's appearance on the 'Ellen Degeneres' show, where the duo made a fake hip hop group called "Rebellen" where their first single was called "Watching Cats on the Internet". You can hear it clearly on the soundtrack performance (1:12)

At one point Anna Kendrick's character is referred to as a troll by her German counterpart Komissar. As of this post Anna Kendrick is voicing the lead in Dreamworks' animated film Trolls (2016).

The Film features the original song by Anna Kendrick, "Cups." It was also featured in the first film when Anna's character, Beca was auditioning for the Bella's. This song is actually derived from an old bluegrass tune. The version in the movie is a cover of Lulu and the Lampshade's version.

Kelley Jakle (Jessica) and Allie Feder (Das Sound Machine member) were teammates on their a Capella team at USC.

Real acapella groups were used during filming, including Pentatonix (winners of The Singoff season 3) and Penn Masala (who have released 8 albums and sung for President Obama)

Anna Kendrick improvised nearly half of her lines.

Rebel Wilson publicly stated she wanted Demi Lovato to have a role as one of the Bellas, and even made her an offer, though Lovato chose to focus on her music and tour commitments at the time.
