How can society grows strong and prosperous when the people in the corridors of power – the politicians, government officials and persons in law enforcement – turn out to be corrupt and greedy.

Amongst the many who are looking to maximise their personal profits within a corrupt system are Dharma Rao (Gowrinatha Sastry) the Chairman of the municipality, municipal contractor, a local businessman, and his associates. They use their influence for their own personal ends in secret.

However, Ramadasu (Lingamurthy), who is also a newspaper editor, is honest and incorruptible. How will the battle against the corrupt system evolve? What will the future hold in store for all the players?
