P Ram Kumar was born in Theni, southern part of Tamil nadu. He completed his B.sc Visual Communication in SRM University, Kattankulathur in the year 2013. The involvement he had in exploring subtlety of cinema and film-making, he had opted to do diploma in Film Technology from MGR government film and Television institute where he got specialized in the areas of screenplay writing and direction. His final year diploma film project is "Sheeps vanished in the herd".
