This is the inspiring tale of Sir Nicholas Nicky Winton, a compassionate London broker who, in the prelude to World War II, orchestrated the rescue of 669 mainly Jewish children from the clutches of the Nazis. Visiting Prague in December 1938, Nicky encountered families displaced by the Nazi regime, living in dire circumstances with scant shelter.
