As his father had chosen to marry his mother despite familial rejection, his grandfather had excommunicated him from the family. When Prabhu's parents died in an accident when he was young, he was abandoned and left to lead the life of an orphan. Traumatised by his lonely existence in childhood, Prabhu adopts several orphaned children in the hopes of ensuring that they would have happy and safe childhoods. However, in order to satisfactorily care for them, he is constantly in dire need of funds. As a painter unable to sell his paintings, Prabhu resorts to minor fraud. He peruses through the obituary column of newspapers, identifying wealthy people and reaches out to the family claiming that the recently deceased had purchased a painting from him. However, when such fraud lands them in trouble, Prabhu and his friend decide to steal a priceless diamond in a bid to resolve their financial troubles once and for all. Will the amateur burglars succeed in the theft of the priceless diamond? How will Prabhu's future unfold?
