This socially relevant drama is set amidst an orthodox Muslim household. The elder daughter Waheeda runs away on her wedding night and her father Kasim kills his friend’s son who helped her to run away.
Kasim gets seven years imprisonment for that murder. As soon he gets out of jail, he meets with a road accident that leaves him paralysed.
In the meantime, Waheeda has married an Ayurvedic doctor called Madhavankutty. Her cousin Anwar who was a party to the marriage, requests Madhavankutty to treat Kasim.
So, Madhavankutty takes on the fake identity of Dr Mammotty and enters the house of his in-laws. Will his treatment be able to restore his father-in-law to good health? Can he gain the trust of the family members so that he can reveal his true identity? Will the family ever accept the marriage of Waheeda and Madhavankutty, and the presence of their young son?
