Mattuvin Chattangale (1982)

This action-oriented crime drama revolves around the life of a forest officer who leads a happy life with his wife and daughter. One day, while on duty he comes across from poachers trying to illegally cut down and smuggle sandalwood trees. When challenged, they retaliate, a struggle ensues, and one of them is killed. The forest officer is charged for his murder, tried in court and sentenced to several years in prison. Unable to bear the verdict, his wife kills herself along with their daughter. Years later, the forest officer is released from prison, embittered and angry. When he comes across another young man, struggling to exact revenge against the same men who destroyed his life and family, he decides to team up with him for justice. Is the man the forest officer was charged for killing really dead? How will this team of two wreak vengeance upon their enemies?
