After being abandoned by his unwed mother, Kunti, Karna is rescued and adopted by a childless Charioteer, Adhiratha and his wife, Radha. He grows up in their loving care, and after maturing, wants to become a warrior. He is unable to find a mentor and turns to Suryadev, and then to Sage Parashuram, who individually assist him to excel as an archer. He befriends Rajkumar Dhuryodhan, and participates in the disrobing of Draupadi. His ultimate test will come when he joins forces with Dhuryodhan and his army to take on five sons of Pandu: Yudhister, Arjun, Bhim, Nakul and Sahdev - the husbands of Draupadi in the Kurukshetra; and the entry of their mother, none other than Kunti herself, who will soon approach him, reveal herself as his mother, and ask him to support her sons.
