Madam (1993)

Prasad is a successful dubbing artist. His friend Bobby is in love with Kalpana and Prasad helps him talk to Kalpana's strict father. In the meantime, Sharadha Devi, Bobby's grandmother, who has brought him up since his parents' untimely death, suffers a massive heart attack, and wishes to see Bobby's beloved before she dies.

Upon Bobby's request, Prasad goes to Kalpana's house to bring her to see Bobby's grandmother. It is only then that Prasad finds out that Kalpana and her father think of Prasad as the groom, not Bobby. Unable to find any other option, Prasad begins to impersonate a woman, using his dubbing skills to convince Bobby's grandmother.

Sharadha Devi is so overjoyed by the news of her grandson's decision to marry that she soon makes a remarkable recovery, forcing Prasad to keep on playing the part of Bobby's fiance. How will Prasad's journey as a woman unfold? How long will they successfully withhold the truth?
