Depicted partially in flashbacks, this socially relevant drama follows the fluctuating fortunes in the life of Krishanunni (Mammotty), who is an uncompromising and sincere RTO officer, who demands discipline and excellence from all his staff. The stenographer in the office is Radhika, a married woman, who has a vivacious daughter. She takes responsibility for all the household chores and works hard, while her husband is greedy and uncaring. What was Krishanunni's life like before he became an IAS officer? Was there any previous connection between him and Radhika? When his mentor, the man who was instrumental in making him a highly respected IAS officer, comes to Krishanunni with a proposal for marriage with his own daughter, Malli how will he respond? How will their respective futures pan out?
