Karuppampatti (2013)

Manohar is a college student from a village called Karuppampatti. He hates his village and its people and looks down on them for being naive and simple. He hires stage actors to play his parents for a college event after heartlessly turning away his own parents. After his mother’s death, Manohar cons his family to get funds to go to France. However, the betrayal comes at a price and the responsibility of bringing the scattered family together falls on his son.
