Mahesh gives up his dream to play badminton and moves to Singapore in search of work. There he meets Janani, who is there on a work contract. Mahesh's badminton skills are appreciated by a coach, who takes him under his wing and offers him citizenship to play for Singapore. When life seems to be going smoothly, Janani gets deported.
