A breezy entertainer

Story:
A cute love story between the lead pair told with unemployment as the base.

Performances:
Vijay Sethupathy is an asset to the film. He has nailed it with his brilliant performance. The film does'nt need a comedy actor because the comic part was done by himself very well. Sethupathy has given his best in every frame. He has the ability to change an ordinary scene into an extraordinary one. This will be Madonna Sebastian's best debut film in Kollywood. She excels well with her charm.

Analysis:
Nalan Kumarasamy has to be appreciated for trying a noir comedy(dark comedy) script. It gives a new experience to the audience and also redefines comedy. The background score is peppy and sometimes makes a scene more engaging. Thanks to Santhosh Narayan for trying out something different in Tamil cinema and succeeding in it. The camera work and editing deserves an applause especially in bar fight and gym fight. The rain sequences are nicely captured. On the flip side, Samuthirakani who is a gem to Tamil cinema could have been used well and also given a strong role like his previous outings. The climax looks extended and loses some pace. The bar problem is unexplained and the film ends abruptly. Songs are passable but "ka ka po" stands out loud.

Director's cut:
Nalan Kumarasamy has the potential to make the audience laugh out loud through Noir comedy. He has done it again here. He has chosen the perfect cast in the film. His choice of choosing sathosh narayan is brilliant. We want more films like this with a stronger climax(some twists and laughs).

Verdict:
Puts a smile on your face.

Cute couples love story
on

This film has no story but the acting of Vijay Sethupathi is really mass and his body language was his plus point. Madonna Sebastian good choose for her debut film. Mass backgrounds by Santosh Narayanan. And as usual a different set of songs. It's not a good comeback for Nalan Kumarasamy. The film from the beginning runs without any bore. Over all film is OK...
