This evocative romantic drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Kannan (Prashanth), a talented young musician who is employed as a repair person of musical instruments.

Kannan dreams of a woman who wears gold anklets and soon finds her in reality in the form of Gayathri (Simran), a beautiful college student. Kannan tries his best to get close to her, but she does not encourage his advances.

After much misunderstanding and suspicion on Gayathri's part, emerging circumstances prove Kannan's honesty and authenticity, causing her to finally begin to reciprocate his love.

However, in order to get married, they must first win the hearts of each other's fathers and gain their approval. So, Gayathri tries to enter Kannan's house, while Kannan tries to win the trust and solve the problems faced by Gayathri's father. Will they both succeed in fulfilling their mission?
