Psychiatrist Nicoline starts a job in a prison where she meets Idris, an intelligent and psychopathic rapist who has been allowed a first probation. Nicoline distrusts him and argues against this decision. Idris is desperate to show Nicoline his good intentions, but she remains skeptical, and slowly he becomes more and more hostile, transforming into the manipulative man Nicoline knew from the start. A power game develops between them; one Nicoline enjoys more than she dares to admit to herself.
