Based in Bandra, Mumbai, Inspector Kiran first warns K.C. and her male friends, Vicky Sharma, Rocky Khanna, and Malhotra to behave. Despite of this they attempt to sexually molest Swati and assault her boyfriend, Amit, and are suspended from their college for 7 days. Subsequently Swati is not only assaulted by K.C. but also sexually assaulted by the four males, and Amit gets killed. Despite of warnings from an enraged K.C., Kiran arrests them and holds them in a cell. Advocate Malhotra proceeds to try them in Court while the accused are defended by Advocate Sharma. It is here that Swati will refuse to identify the accused, resulting in their acquittal, while Kiran will be admonished by the Judge. Shortly thereafter, Kiran will be confronted by K.C., who will empty her revolver, proceed to tie her up, slap her viciously, joined by her male friends who brutally assault her. Bleeding, bruised and battered she approaches Commissioner Gaikwad and is asked to go on leave to her village. Kiran travels to her village hoping to recover from this incident - not knowing the shock and trauma that await her there.
