Innathe Chinthavishayam (2008)

Evocative and insightful, this contemporary, socially relevant drama delves into the increasing number of divorce cases in the country, highlighting the need for stable and loving families. This emotionally-charged tale follows the events in three families: Family 1: Dr .Murali Krishanan (Mukesh), the most successful dentist in the city is more interested in having extramarital affairs than spending quality time with his family. He hides them from his wife Teresa (Sukanya), by assigning male names for them in his mobile. When his wife confronts him, he walks out of her life, without even giving a second thought to the welfare of their daughter Lakshmi (Baby Nivedita) . Family 2: Comprising of Pithambaran (Vijayaraghavan) and his wife Premila (Mohini) with their lovely children Malavika and Madhavan they seem to be the ideal family, leading a good life. But due to increased possessiveness for his wife, Pithambaran returns home from the Gulf, throwing away his good job, and starts escorting his wife everywhere. Jobless and obsessed, he develops inferiority complex which further complicates things for Premila, ultimately resulting in continuous fights and separation. Family 3: Rehna (Muthumani) is not able to continue with her lawyer profession due to the orthodox attitude of her husband and his family. She too walks out of his life, and starts working independently. Into the lives of these three ladies who start living separately arrives GK alias Gopakumar (Mohanlal), a garment exporter. Will he succeed in bringing back love and laughter lives of these feuding families? How will this mysterious stranger bring about the miracle of togetherness into these broken families?
