Idhu Dhanda Police (2016)

Fast-paced and fiery, this multi-layered drama revolves around Shankar, an orphan who is raised by a sincere police officer, Raja Rao. When Raja Rao ends up killing a youngster under unexpected circumstances, Shankar takes on the blame and his adoptive father's wrath. Warned never to meet him again, Shankar is thrown out of the house.

Years later Shankar is a CI who is referred as 'Encounter' Shankar because of his track record as an encounter specialist. He is posted to Bukkapatnam town in Tadipatri, Ananthapuram and is assigned the task of ending the illegal businesses of a dreaded local don Damodar whose dream project is to build a power plant. Using his clever mind, Shankar destroys all the three main businesses of Damodar by trapping the respective in-charges of those businesses. He brings a stay on the power project by bringing few vital witnesses. On a parallel note, Shankar loves a sweet shop owner named Saroja who reciprocates his love at a later point of time.

Shankar's life leads him once more towards his adoptive father when Bharath, who is now a district collector is forced to commit suicide due to Damodar's machinations. Can father and son reunite to avenge Bharath's unjust demise, defeat Damodar at his own game and bring him to justice?
