This contemporary romantic comedy revolves around three beautiful sisters, Ganga (Jacqueline Fernandez), Jamuna (Lisa Haydon), and Saraswati (Nargis Fakhri), who are forced to face many troubles due to their father Batook Patel (Boman Irani). He is a loving man, but is dead against his daughters getting married, due to a belief that marriage always leads to doom and destruction.
Unable to convince their father otherwise, the young women are forced to keep their relationships secret, but each of them has a boyfriend. Ganga's boyfriend is Teddy (Riteish Deshmukh), a wannabe racer; Jamuna's lover is Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan), who wants to be a rapper; and Saraswathi's man is Sandy (Akshay Kumar), who wants to own his own football club.
When the savvy Batook learns of his daughters' love life, he hires a man to pose as an astrologer and make a dire prediction that should any of the men they, speak to or step foot into Batook's house, Batook will die. Why is such a seemingly loving father so dead against his daughters' happiness? What terrible secret is he withholding from them? What plans does Batook have for his daughters' marriage? What tremendous challenge will be put forth before the three couples and will they succeed in reaching the altar against all odds?
