Half Ticket (2016)

Two brothers who live in a slum with their mother and grandmother have big dreams. They keep pestering their mother for many things, but their stark reality is of poverty.Their father is locked away in jail and their mother (Bose) struggles to make ends meet.

Despite dire financial circumstances, their mother manages to provide them with a television. The brothers help her by selling coal that falls off wagons on the railway tracks. Like any other kids, the brothers keep asking for new things to be brought in the house and when their mother wins a TV in a lucky draw contest, they are introduced to a whole new world of glamour.

The brothers see an advertisement of hot, steamy pizza and become obsessed with eating one. At this point, a glamorous pizza shop opens up in their area, and the boys decide to save money in order to purchase one. However, despite having the ability to buy a pizza, they are denied access, causing a complex chain of events that changes their lives irrevocably. What will the future hold in store for them?
