This socially relevant tale delves into the subject of environmental and wildlife conservation. Vijay is a wildlife photographer and conservationist, who lives in the forests and grasslands with his wife and young son. His brother-in-law, Ajit comes to visit them. Vijay speaks passionately about how the Earth is home for all the beings of the animal, plant and bird kingdom and does not belong to the humans alone. He encourages Ajit to become a game warden, so that they can protect the wildlife from indiscriminate hunters and poachers.
Ranbir is a wealthy and arrogant poacher who gets pleasure from hurting and killing animals. He tries to bribe Vijay into allowing him to hunt, but he refuses. In retaliation, Ranbir brutally murders Vijay and his wife.
