Ente Katha (1983)

Embedded with quirky comedy and charged emotion, this romantic drama follows the twists and turns in the life of Usha, a professional exponent of traditional Indian dance, especially Mohini Attam. She has some very ardent fans, one of whom is Babu, who makes a bet with his best friend, Ramesh that he will somehow win her heart. His perseverance pays off and Usha accepts his love. Babu's mother, Gauri gets into trouble with her brother when Babu's elder brother, who was studying to be a doctor in the USA goes ahead and gets married to a girl he met there, even though his marriage was fixed to his relative in India. As consolation, Gauri promises to get Babu married to his elder brother's betrothed, Aparna. Will Babu choose to respect his mother's words and marry Aparna, thereby betraying Usha or will he remain true to his love? Srikumar is an older man who works as a manager in a company and is very straightforward. He is very fond of Usha. How will his relationship with Usha unfold? What does the future hold in store for Usha?
