Trivia:
'Ek Villain' was rumored to be a remake of the Korean film 'I Saw The Devil' which was denied by director Mohit Suri.

The movie was originally titled 'Villain', as the rights were already claimed by actor Arjun Rampal, it was then changed to 'Ek Villain'.

Actor Ritesh Deskhmukh had sported contact lenses for his character in the movie.

The glow shown in the song Galliyan song which was shot at Maldive's Vadhoo island beach, was glowing due to the phenomenon of bioluminiscence that was caused by the planktons.
