Stationed in Delhi, Naval Officer Vanraj lives a fairly wealthy lifestyle along with his wife, Vidya, and young child, Shubi. Things change after the re-entry of his sister-in-law, Suman Dixit, the one who he always remembered as a plain girl with braces has now blossomed into a breath-taking, statuesque beauty. His attraction for her increases so much so that he starts spending more and more time with her until things start to get complicated with the arrival of her boyfriend, Arjun Ranatunge, and the sudden and questionable death of Vidya.
