Before entering Tollywood or Bollywood, Deeksha was into modelling. She was a finalist in Femina Miss India in 2009. She entered the beauty pageant by creating a portfolio with help from her father’s friend. She had no prior modelling experience! Apart from being one of the ten finalists, she won the Fresh Face title.
