Dappankuthu (2024)

Pandi is a dancer from Madurai who specializes in performing folk dances. He and his troupe travel to towns around Madurai to showcase their art. His maternal uncle, Dharmalingam, works as a broker who arranges performers for various shows. Dhanam, a native of the same town, expresses her desire to join Pandi's troupe and perform in their shows. However, Dharmalingam strongly opposes Dhanam’s decision to join the troupe, leading to a conflict between Pandi and Dharmalingam. The plot revolves around Dhanam's background and the reasons behind Dharmalingam's opposition to her performing dances.
