Damodar Raao

Indian film music director Damodar Raao is known for his work in the Bhojpuri film industry. He was born to Ramdhani Rao & his mother's name is Lalpari Devi. He has worked on more than 50 Bhojpuri films, 500 music audio-video music albums and is consider as one of the top music director of Bhojpuri film industry. His music falls in the genre of Indian classical music. In 2000, Raao got his first break as a singer in the Hindi film 'Shaitan Tantrik', which was composed by Nikhil Vinay with lyrics by Vinay Bihari. In 2014 Raao received the award for Best Music Director of the Year 2012 by Darshnik Mumbai Press Media Award.
