Goofs:
Character Error
During the planning scene when Fait is giving out assignments he calls Daria "Gabrielle." She is played by Gabrielle Union.

Character Error
When the auction starts, Sona says that 50 stones are available. The Pakistani buyer wins the first bid with $5.7 million for six stones, leaving 44 stones. Then the Egyptian buyer wins the next bid with $10 million for ten stones, leaving 34 stones. However, Sona then says that "there are 37 stones available".

Continuity
When Daria gets off the train walking on the tracks, she has on a heeled shoe. When exiting through the gate, she has on flat shoes.

Factual Mistake
The M1A1 offered for sale is reported to have reactive armour and a 90mm cannon. A 90mm cannon would have been impossible to come by having been phased out by the appearance of the M1A1.

Revealing Mistakes
When Fait runs up the wall to backflip over the dog that's chasing him, the wall bends inward, as if made of rubber.

Crew/Equipment Visible
At the end when the helicopter is taking off, a camera crew is visible running on the ground.

Factual Mistake
The tank at the end is shown to be equipped with an M60 machine gun at the Loader's hatch. All versions of the Abrams mount an M240 machine gun at this position.
Trivia:
Arnold Schwarzenegger was initially attached to star in the project.

The casting of Mark Dacascos was the result of a poll on Jet Li's website where fans were asked who they would like to see him fight next.

Real life UFC competitors Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell were recruited by producer Joel Silver for the cage fight sequence with Jet Li.

Jet Li's character only fights with one hand for a majority of the film.

In the cage-fighting scene, Tito Ortiz is shown as the victor in a fight between himself and Chuck Liddell. In reality, the two have fought two times in the UFC, with Chuck winning both fights.

The film was originally developed as a remake of the 1931 film 'M'.

It is the first film where all three of them (DMX, jet Li, and Anthony Anderson) share screen time with each other.
