Chess (2006)

Embedded with fierce action and suspenseful thrill, this dark tale of revenge follows the trials and triumphs in the life of Vijay Krishnan, a fearless and straightforward young man, who happens to be the illegitimate son of a wealthy businessman Krishna Das. In a cruel, calculated and cunning conspiracy, Devarajan murders Krishna Das, his wealthy brother-in-law. They also burn his mother to death, beat Vijay to a pulp and leave him to die. Not stopping there, he takes the help of his friends and co-conspirators Superintendent Koshi, Inspector Sharat and advocate Raj Mohan, to discredit and disinherit Vijay Krishnan, leaving him devastated and heartbroken.
