Lakshmi and her mentally ill brother Shiva live together, with Lakshmi caring for Shiva while she sells fish. When Lakshmi dies from COVID-19, Shiva is left helpless until his friend Babu intervenes and gets him medical help. After a year of recovery, Shiva returns to the village, physically and mentally improved, but faces stigma from the locals who struggle to accept his transformation.
