Known for having conversations with Bhagwan Shri Kishan, Madhavayya (Akkineni Nageshwara Rao) lives a poor and simple lifestyle in a village with his wife, young son, and brother, Gopalam.
Due to his atheist brother's misbehaviour, Madhavayya finds himself thrust into a public and acrimonious conflict, and consequently, the temple's keys are confiscated from him. Unable to communicate with his beloved Kishanji, Madhavayya is left heartbroken and helpless.
Adding to his woes, challenges keep piling up and reach their peak when the leader of the village and others accuse his own brother of not only stealing the keys of the temple, but also the sacred jewellery of Lord Krishna. What will the future hold in store for Madhavayya? Will his beloved master come to his rescue and validate his extraordinary devotion?
